Called to the field in large numbers in Amaan Stadium on May 25

Fans and supporters have been called upon to turn out in large numbers, arrive early at the stadium, and cheer non-stop during the second leg of the final match to be held on May 25 this year at Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar.

The guest of honor at the launch of "Kispika Zanzibar", Member of Parliament for Chumbuni and owner of Mwembe Makumbi City, Ussi Pondeza, stated that the biggest responsibility they have is to honor the son of the late President Mwinyi, who is the current President, Dr. Hussein Mwinyi. And to honor him means to bring him the trophy.

He emphasized that their goal is one: to bring the trophy home.First of all, we must win the trophy  I say again, we must win the trophy. But we won’t succeed if we’re not united. Every Simba fan has a role to play, even if it’s not something big,” he said.

Ahmed, tomorrow announce the press route from the stadium back to the hotel where the team is staying, with our trophy. And President Dr. Mwinyi will meet the players to congratulate them for winning the trophy. Everything I’m saying now is because of Simba, which is representing us as Tanzania.”he added

Meanwhile, Khadija Marrenda, Branch Manager of Azania Bank in Zanzibar, said that Azania Bank found it important to support the President’s efforts in promoting sports.

She announced that the bank will reward Simba fans ahead of the match  anyone who opens an account will receive a free match ticket.

Acting Chairman of Simba Zanzibar, Abdallah Diwani, said Zanzibar is well-prepared just as they were when the team advanced to the semifinals.

Our preparations are solid to ensure WE BRING IT HOME. Zanzibar is secure and, on Simba’s side, we are strong. Simba fans, be ready  come 6 PM that day, we’ll have the CAF Confederation Cup with us,” he explained.
