The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has officially reopened CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza for league matches after the facility underwent necessary renovations to meet the required football regulations and standards.
The stadium had previously been suspended due to substandard infrastructure that failed to comply with club licensing requirements.
According to TFF’s Media Officer, Clifford Mario Ndimbo, an inspection confirmed that the stadium now meets the necessary criteria following the recommended improvements.
“TFF urges clubs to continue upgrading and maintaining their home stadiums in collaboration with the respective owners to ensure compliance with league standards,” Ndimbo stated.
CCM Kirumba becomes the third stadium to be cleared for use, following the reopening of Ali Hassan Mwinyi Stadium in Tabora. The only remaining venue under suspension is CCM Liti Stadium in Singida.
