Taifa Stars arrives in Morocco for World Cup qualifier

The Tanzania national football team, Taifa Stars, arrived today, March 22, 2025, at Mohammed V International Airport in Morocco ahead of their 2026 World Cup qualification match.

The team is in Morocco to compete in the World Cup qualifiers, with a crucial match against Morocco scheduled for the night of March 25, 2025.

Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) President Wallace Karia stressed the importance of securing a victory, which would bring the team one step closer to qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.

Issa Bukuku, the head of the Taifa Stars delegation, assured fans that the team is in good condition and the players are fully fit.

He added that training sessions would be held to ensure the team is well-prepared for the upcoming match.

“Overall, the team is in a good state, and as soon as we arrive, our coaches will start the training sessions,” Bukuku said.

Group E is currently led by Morocco, with nine points, while Taifa Stars have accumulated six points, having played three matches each.
