Simba SC management has confirmed that the team will enter a training camp next week as part of their preparations for the Round of 16 clash in the Federation Cup.
Currently, some players are on international duty with their national teams, while others are enjoying a brief break before returning to action.
Simba is set to take on Bigman in the Federation Cup Round of 16 on March 27, 2025, at the KMC Complex Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
According to the club’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ally, Simba is also gearing up for the CAF Confederation Cup, scheduled for April this year.
"Our preparations haven’t started yet since some players are engaged with their national teams, while others are on a short break. We are waiting for them to return before we begin full training," said Ally.
He further revealed that in addition to the Federation Cup, Simba is also preparing for the CRDB Cup and the CAF Confederation Cup match against Al Masry, which will be played in Egypt.
Following the CRDB Federation Cup fixture, the team is expected to depart for their away match between March 28 and 30.
