Mwana FA to launch Airtel Stadium in Singida

Deputy Minister for Information, Culture, Arts, and Sports, Hamis Mwinjuma, popularly known as Mwana FA, is set to officiate the grand opening of Airtel Stadium in Singida on March 24.

Singida Black Stars' Head of Information and Communications, Hussein Masanza, confirmed that the Deputy Minister has accepted the invitation and will lead a delegation of prominent leaders and sports enthusiasts at the launch event.

According to Masanza, final preparations are in full swing to ensure a successful inauguration.

"The first phase of construction is complete, and many people have seen images of the stadium circulating online. Now, the public will have the opportunity to experience it firsthand during the official launch on March 24," he said.

He further highlighted that the completion of the first phase will allow the stadium to host various competitions while awaiting further upgrades to meet FIFA and CAF standards.

The launch event will feature several exciting activities, including a special inauguration match between Singida Black Stars and Yanga.

Situated in Mtipa, Singida, the stadium was developed in collaboration with local sports stakeholders and is expected to boost football development and entertainment in the region.
