People in Arusha City are excited about new Clean Cooking Energy products. They have praised the government for showcasing these products at the ongoing exhibitions ahead of International Women's Day.
On March 6, 2025, visitors at the REA Pavilion saw different types of clean cooking stoves. Many were happy with the technology, saying it helps protect the environment and makes cooking easier.
"We love these improved stoves. The technology is great, and they are very useful," said Ester Mwasigo, a resident of Dodoma who came to Arusha for the International Women's Day celebrations.
She encouraged others to visit the REA Pavilion and learn about clean cooking energy. She also praised President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan’s efforts to promote clean energy.
"We spend a lot of money on charcoal. This new technology is a good solution. The government is doing a great job, and they should continue educating people about it," she said.
Mwajuma Tarek, a resident of Muriet in Arusha City, said the campaign to promote clean cooking energy is very important. She believes that as more people learn about it, the government’s goal of encouraging clean energy use will be achieved, especially among women.
