Togabe Super Sembe has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting sports development in Kigamboni by sponsoring and organizing various tournaments to nurture young talent.
The company has started with football but plans to extend its support to other sports, including golf and tennis.
Speaking on the initiative, Togabe Super Sembe’s Director, Dotto Rweikiza, said the goal is to identify, develop, and promote young athletes while contributing to the country’s sports development.
“Our aim is to support President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s vision of investing in sports.
We started with football sponsorship, successfully hosting the Top 8 Cup, which featured Kigamboni-based teams.
Now, we have expanded our reach to the Samia Cup, bringing together teams from across Dar es Salaam,” Rweikiza stated.
He emphasized that the company is dedicated to creating opportunities for young athletes to excel and eventually represent Tanzania on a larger stage.
Rweikiza also reaffirmed Togabe Super Sembe’s collaboration with the Kigamboni District Football Association (KDFA), acknowledging its crucial role in talent development.
