Togabe Super Sembe has extended its support to grassroots football by sponsoring sports equipment for eight teams participating in the Top 8 Cup tournament.
The sponsorship package includes jerseys for all participating teams: Daladala FC, Kibugumo Wahenga, Mbeya Boys, Eagle, Gezaulole, Mwongozo, and Prisons.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, Issa Yahya 'Kiiza,' the tournament coordinator from the Kigamboni District Football Association (KDFA), emphasized the initiative's focus on nurturing and developing football talent in the region.
“This is a great opportunity for teams to showcase their skills and competitiveness. I urge all team leaders to prepare well and ensure entertaining and high-quality matches that will make the sponsor proud,” Yahya said.
The tournament offers exciting prizes, with the champions set to take home a trophy and a cow, while the runners-up will receive two goats.
