Simba SC secured a crucial 1-0 victory over CS Sfaxien in the CAF Confederation Cup today in Tunisia, earning three valuable points on the road.
The match saw Simba take the lead in the 34th minute, courtesy of a well-taken goal by Jean Ahoua. This goal stood as the only one of the game, giving Simba a 1-0 advantage as the first half came to a close.
Despite both teams pushing for opportunities in the second half, no further goals were scored, and Simba maintained their slender lead.
With this win, Simba strengthens its chances of advancing to the quarterfinals, while CS Sfaxien is eliminated from the competition.
