Simba SC head coach Fadlu Davids has expressed confidence that his team only needs a draw in their upcoming match against Bravos to secure a place in the quarterfinals of the CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC).

Simba is set to face Bravos in an away fixture this Sunday in Angola, following their crucial 1-0 victory against CS Sfaxien in Tunisia.

Speaking today, January 7, after the team’s arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, Davids outlined his strategy for the remaining group-stage matches.

“Our primary goal is to qualify for the quarterfinals, and a draw against Bravos will be enough to achieve that. Afterward, we will focus on winning our final group match to secure the top spot,” Davids stated.

Simba’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ally, confirmed that preparations are well underway.

He added that the team is expected to depart for Angola on Wednesday or Thursday this week to ensure they are ready for the crucial encounter.

The team is determined to maintain its momentum as it edges closer to advancing in the prestigious tournament.
