When the DC arrived at the family home, he explained, "Although I originally came for a different engagement, I was informed by your son about your condition. I felt it was important to visit you before concluding my schedule, as I understand the seriousness of your illness."

He further shared that the purpose of the visit was threefold: to greet Adonis’ father, offer prayers, and provide a small donation along with fruits as a gesture of support.

Adonis’ father shared the details of his health struggles, recounting how the illness began on October 26, 2023. "I was taken to the regional hospital for treatment, and I receive medical care daily. However, I’ve been told this condition is not something that will quickly improve.

I continue taking my medication and praying for relief," he said. He also spoke about the persistent numbness in his legs and dizziness that have been affecting his daily life.

A pastor, who accompanied the DC on the visit, led a powerful prayer asking for healing, blessings, and strength for the family.

"May the Almighty God bless us, grant us peace, and give us the strength to carry on with our work. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen," the pastor prayed.

Adonis expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the DC for taking the time to visit and support his family during this challenging period.

"I am deeply thankful to the DC for visiting my father, who has been unwell since October. Your kindness and thoughtfulness mean so much to us," he said.

This visit underscores the significance of empathy, leadership, and community support in both personal and administrative matters, reminding us of the power of compassion in times of hardship.
