Simba Queens striker Aisha Juma has reaffirmed her determination to reclaim her spot as the top scorer in this season’s Tanzania Women’s Premier League (TWPL).
After a period off the pitch, Aisha made a triumphant return yesterday, netting two goals in Simba’s 11-0 demolition of Mlandizi Queens during a match played at the KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam.
Speaking after the game, Aisha expressed her resolve to continue where she left off last season when she led the scoring charts.
“I know others are currently ahead of me in the race for the golden boot, but I’m ready to fight with all my strength to achieve both the team’s goals and my personal ambitions,” she said.
Aisha also emphasized her commitment to helping Simba Queens maintain their dominance, stating that her focus is on delivering outstanding performances for the benefit of the team and herself.
