Tanzania Prisons' player, Tariq Simba, has managed to rescue the team from danger in the ongoing Tanzanian Premier League with a crucial goal.

Tanzania Prisons secured a 1-0 victory over Pamba Jiji in a second-round match played today, December 26, 2024, at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya.

In the 31st minute, Prisons took the lead with a goal from Simba, which stood until the end of the first half, marking 45 minutes of play.

The second half was uneventful in terms of goals, with neither team managing to score. Tanzania Prisons fought hard to protect their lead, ensuring Pamba Jiji could not find the back of the net.

As the final whistle blew, marking the completion of the 90 minutes, Tanzania Prisons emerged victorious with a 1-0 win.

With this result, Tanzania Prisons climbed to 13th place on the standings, having accumulated 14 points, while Pamba Jiji dropped to 14th place, with 12 points.
