Vice President Dr Philip Mpango is set to grace the climax of Mwananchi Day at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam today.
This has been confirmed through Yanga's verified Instagram account on Sunday morning.
Already, members and fans of the club are flocking at the 60,000 capacity venue in big number to be part of the memorable annual event.
Series of entertaining activities have been lined up to colour the day with renowned Bongo Flavor artiste Rajab Kahali 'Harmonize' among those listed to entertain.
Afterwards, the club is going to introduce the full squad plus entire technical bench to be featured throughout the upcoming season.
However, to seal the deal, an international friendly match is going to be played as Yanga host Red Arrows of Zambia in a seemingly competitive duel.
It will be the first time for Yanga members and fans to witness their newly signed players like Clatous Chama, Prince Dube and Jean Baleke whose signings made headlines.
