Simba have confirmed that veteran goalkeeper Aishi Manula has rejoined his teammates in camp after resolving their misunderstandings.
The renowned shot-stopper did not travel with the team for pre-season drills conducted in Egypt hence missed several friendly matches including the Community Shield Derby match against Young Africans.
He was also not part of the squad that outclassed Tabora United 3-0 in their first Premier League match for the 2024/25 season played at KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam on Sunday.
However, Simba's Media and Communication Manager Ahmed Ally on Tuesday admitted that Manula is back in the camp training with his colleagues ahead of their upcoming competitive matches.
"The good thing is that he is back in the camp and we are happy for that...he still has a valid contract to be featured at our club," Ally said.
In another development, he also revealed that the club has parted ways with striker Freddy Micheal citing that the incumbent Simba coach Fadlu Davids was not satisfied with his abilities.
"His departure has paved way for another goal poacher Leonel Ateba (Cameroon) who is already in camp readying for the upcoming competitive matches," he said.
Up next, Simba will host Fountain Gate at KMC Complex in the city on Sunday for their second league match of the season.
