Simba is back at the top of the Premier League table after generating a big 4-0 win over Fountain Gate at KMC Complex in Dar es Salaam on Sunday.

Edwin Balua put the hosts upfront in the 13th minute with a piercing header before Steven Mukwala stretching the lead in the 44 the minute with a sweet finish.

Jean Ahoua made it 3-0 in the 58th minute to create a big mountain to climb for the visitors as things were not moving their way in terms of battling for first maximum points of the campaign.

Substitute Valentino Mashaka netted his second league goal of the season to guarantee the Reds a 4-0 triumph, their back to back success in the league.

So far, the Msimbazi street giants have scored seven goals in two matches and are yet to concede a goal, a perfect start of the campaign by coach Fadlu Davids who is eager to bring bag trophies at the club.

For Fountain Gate, it was yet a bad day at office as they remain win-less and have succumbed to a heavy upset.

Up next, Simba will travel to face Tanzania Prisons at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya on October 22nd in their first away match of the progressing season.
