Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (Tawa) is seizing the spotlight at the 48th International Trade Fair in Dar es Salaam to unveil a plethora of investment opportunities.

Nestled within the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism's prestigious pavilion, Tawa is strategically positioned to captivate Tanzanians, international investors, and global visitors alike.

With a focus on fostering investments across its expansive portfolio, Tawa invites stakeholders to explore and capitalize on the rich potential within its conservation and tourism sectors.

Speaking to visitors at Tawa's booth, Tourism Officer Daud Tesha highlighted the broad spectrum of investment prospects available. He identified opportunities in wildlife photography tourism within wildlife reserves, culturally rich historical sites, Special Wildlife Investment Concession Areas (SWICA), and eco-friendly tourism initiatives like wildlife safaris and animal husbandry.

"We have earmarked several areas for photography tourism due to their unique ecology and captivating attractions, such as the Mpanga/Kipengere Game Reserve, renowned for its breathtaking waterfalls," remarked Daud Tesha.

Other areas include the Wamimbiki Game Reserve, Tabora Zoo, Ruhila Zoo, and Makuyuni Wildlife Park, inviting citizens to invest in tourism infrastructure such as campsites, hostels, lodges, and picnic sites for tourists.

TAWA's Public Relations Officer, Beatus Maganja, extended an open invitation to all Tanzanians to visit their booth to explore the diverse investment opportunities available within the organization.

"As the theme of this Trade Fair emphasizes Tanzania as the Ideal Place for Business and Investment, I urge all Tanzanians to consider TAWA as the premier institution for business and investment, offering various opportunities such as lodge construction and conference facilities," affirmed Beatus Maganja.

This initiative underlines Tanzania's commitment to sustainable tourism development and economic growth through strategic partnerships and diversified investments in wildlife conservation and eco-tourism.
