The
Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) has been honored with the
third prize for the best pavilion at the 48th Dar es Salaam International Trade
Fair, popularly known as Sabasaba 2024. This accolade was presented during the
fair's opening ceremony on July 3, 2024, by President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan
alongside Mozambique's President, Filipe Nyusi.
BRELA,
a vital governmental body responsible for registering and licensing businesses
in Tanzania, expressed gratitude for the prestigious award. Chief Executive
Officer Godfrey Nyaisa attributed the success to the agency's dedicated efforts
and professionalism showcased at the exhibition.
"This
award underscores BRELA's commitment to excellence and our unwavering
dedication to our clients," remarked Nyaisa. "It marks a significant
milestone and motivates us to elevate our standards even further."
Nyaisa
highlighted BRELA's renewed focus on actively engaging with stakeholders and
enhancing service delivery. "Previously, we merely showcased our services
at Sabasaba. Moving forward, we are committed to implementing what we
exhibit," he affirmed. "Our entire team is present here to assist. We
encourage anyone seeking business registration or information about our
services to visit our pavilion."
With an increasing number of businesses emerging daily, BRELA aims to streamline its services to meet the growing demand fueled by Tanzania's supportive business environment. As the primary gateway for government business identification in the country, BRELA continues to innovate and expand its capabilities.
