ACT Wazalendo Zanzibar has intensified efforts to strengthen its grassroots structures, with senior party officials meeting leaders from North B Region and Donge Constituency to assess challenges and improve party operations.
Deputy Secretary-General of ACT Wazalendo Zanzibar, Omar Ali Shehe, accompanied by Deputy Secretary for Organisation, Training and Elections Khamis Ali Salum, held talks with the party’s North B regional leadership and Donge constituency officials on Monday.
The meeting, held at the party’s headquarters in Viga, Zanzibar, focused on strengthening party structures, improving coordination among leaders and members, and enhancing the implementation of party activities in Donge and North B Region.
The engagement also provided an opportunity for the leadership to hear challenges facing the party at the grassroots level and discuss possible measures to address them.
The move comes as part of ACT Wazalendo Zanzibar’s efforts to maintain regular engagement with leaders across different levels of the party, particularly at the regional and constituency levels.
The party leadership has emphasised the importance of unity and effective coordination among its officials and members in ensuring that party programmes are implemented more effectively.
The meeting is expected to contribute to the development of strategies aimed at strengthening ACT Wazalendo’s organisational capacity and activities in North B Region and Donge Constituency.
