Caffe Coffee has emerged as one of the standout exhibitors at this year's International Trade Fair (Sabasaba), using the platform to showcase its growing footprint in Tanzania's coffee industry and unveil plans to expand access to locally produced coffee across the country.
The company, which specializes in coffee retail and distribution through a network of cafés in several Tanzanian cities, says it is committed to deepening the domestic coffee market while creating greater value for coffee farmers and consumers.
Speaking during the exhibition, Caffe Coffee Chief Executive Officer, Muntazir Hussein, said the company's participation reflects its broader vision of promoting coffee culture and increasing appreciation for Tanzanian-grown coffee.
"Our participation in this exhibition demonstrates Caffe Coffee's commitment to promoting coffee culture in Tanzania while showcasing the quality and value of our coffee in both domestic and international markets," Hussein said.
He noted that the company has established itself as an important player across the coffee value chain by sourcing coffee beans directly from local farmers, processing them, and serving customers through its expanding café network.
According to Hussein, the company's business model not only supports local coffee producers but also creates employment opportunities in production, processing, distribution, and customer service.
As part of its growth strategy, Caffe Coffee plans to open additional outlets in different parts of the country to make premium coffee more accessible to Tanzanians.
The expansion is also expected to support the hospitality and tourism industries by strengthening the availability of quality coffee experiences.
Hussein said increasing domestic coffee consumption remains a key priority, noting that greater local demand would complement Tanzania's strong export market while improving incomes across the coffee value chain.
The ongoing Sabasaba exhibition has brought together hundreds of local and international exhibitors, providing businesses with an opportunity to showcase new products, technologies, and investment opportunities.
The coffee industry has been among the sectors attracting growing attention, supported by increasing consumer demand for high-quality, locally sourced beverages.
For Caffe Coffee, the exhibition offers an opportunity not only to market its products but also to reinforce its long-term ambition of positioning Tanzanian coffee as a premium brand, both at home and abroad.
