Bonite Bottles unveils rebranded Kilimanjaro Water at Cigogo Festival

Bonite Bottles Limited has introduced its newly rebranded Kilimanjaro Natural Mineral Water at the 17th Cigogo Music Festival, using the cultural event as a platform to connect with consumers and promote the new identity of its flagship product.

Speaking to journalists on July 24, 2026, at Chamwino Arts Centre, Bonite Bottles Limited Marketing Officer for Dodoma Region, Samuel Masawe, said the company’s participation in the festival is part of efforts to bring its products closer to customers while supporting the growth of Tanzania’s creative and cultural industries.

Masawe said festival attendees will have an opportunity to experience the taste of Kilimanjaro Natural Mineral Water and learn more about the company’s transition from Kilimanjaro Drinking Water to Kilimanjaro Natural Mineral Water.

“Our participation in this festival is aimed at allowing visitors to enjoy the authentic taste of Kilimanjaro Natural Mineral Water while introducing them to our new brand identity. We have rebranded from Kilimanjaro Drinking Water to Kilimanjaro Natural Mineral Water to better represent the natural quality of our product,” Masawe said.

He added that Bonite Bottles Limited has continued to support cultural festivals and community events across Tanzania as part of its commitment to promoting arts, culture and public engagement.

The 17th Cigogo Music Festival is scheduled to officially open on July 25, 2026, at Chamwino Arts Centre, with Dodoma Regional Commissioner Rosemary Senyamule expected to officiate the opening ceremony.

The festival is expected to attract traditional music performers, cultural stakeholders and thousands of visitors, providing a platform for celebrating Tanzania’s cultural heritage while creating opportunities for businesses to engage with consumers.
