Singida BS has dismissed circulating reports linking the club with player signings ahead of the upcoming season, clarifying that no official transfer process has begun and no negotiations with any player are currently underway.
In a statement issued by the club’s management, Singida BS said the information being shared on social media and other platforms regarding alleged transfer activities is unfounded and should be treated as rumours.
The club emphasized that it has not yet received the technical bench report that will guide decisions on player recruitment for the new season, adding that official communication on transfers will be made at the appropriate time once the internal review process is completed.
At the same time, head coach Muhibu Kanu has congratulated his players, technical staff, management, and supporters following Singida BS’s 2-1 victory over JKT Tanzania in a tightly contested NBC Premier League match played at Meja Jenerali Isamuhyo Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Kanu noted that the victory was the result of collective effort across the entire club structure, praising the team’s fighting spirit in what he described as a challenging away fixture against a well-organized opponent.
He added that while the result was positive, the team still needs to address several mistakes observed during the match, which will be corrected in training sessions as they prepare for the remaining fixtures of the season.
The coach further reiterated that Singida BS’s target is to finish the season among the top four teams in the NBC Premier League standings, stressing the importance of consistency and discipline in the final stretch of the campaign.
