The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) Arusha Region has expressed its condolences to the family of the late taxpayer, Alpha Ulawe, the owner of Fit Farm Africa, who recently passed away.
A delegation from TRA Arusha, led by Regional Manager Deogratius Shuma, visited the bereaved family to offer sympathy and show solidarity during this difficult period of mourning.
The visit was aimed at comforting the family and reaffirming the authority’s commitment to maintaining strong relations with taxpayers beyond their business engagements.
Speaking during the condolence visit, Shuma said TRA received the news of Ulawe’s death with deep sorrow. He described the late Ulawe as one of the taxpayers who consistently contributed to national revenue with honesty, voluntary compliance, and professionalism.
He added that taxpayers like Ulawe play an important role in supporting national development through timely and responsible tax contributions, noting that his contribution will be remembered within the tax system in Arusha Region.
On behalf of the family, the sister of the deceased expressed appreciation to TRA for the visit, saying the gesture demonstrated care, respect, and recognition of taxpayers even after their passing. She said the family felt comforted by the support shown during their moment of grief.
The visit reflects TRA’s broader approach of strengthening relationships with taxpayers, emphasizing trust, cooperation, and mutual respect as key pillars in improving tax compliance and service delivery across the country.
