Bonite Bottlers, through its flagship Kilimanjaro Water, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting athletics development in Tanzania through continued collaboration with the Dar es Salaam Athletics Association (DAA).
Speaking in Dar es Salaam, Bonite Bottlers Marketing Coordinator Martha Silayo said the partnership forms part of the company’s broader efforts to support sports development and nurture young athletic talent across the country.
She praised DAA for its strong leadership and effective management of athletics programmes in Dar es Salaam Region, saying the association has played a key role in promoting the sport and creating opportunities for young athletes.
“Because of the excellent work being done by DAA, we, as sports stakeholders and supporters through Kilimanjaro Natural Mineral Water, decided to partner with them in implementing various athletics programmes,” said Silayo.
She noted that Bonite Bottlers has been actively involved in marathons and other sporting competitions held in Dar es Salaam as part of its commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and sports growth.
Silayo added that the company will continue working with sports stakeholders to help identify and develop young talent while contributing to the advancement of Tanzania’s sports sector.
Recently, Kilimanjaro Water was among the sponsors of the ‘DAA Youth Talent Championship,’ a three-day competition held at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium that brought together more than 300 participants from different areas.
