Young Africans SC (Yanga) will clash with Pamba Jiji FC today in a crucial NBC Premier League Tanzania Bara match at CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza, in what promises to be a fiercely contested encounter.
Yanga head coach Pedro Gonçalves acknowledged the challenge posed by the home side but remains confident.
“We expect a tough game against Pamba Jiji, but our team is ready. Our focus is on securing three vital points on the road,” Gonçalves said.
Defender Israel Mwenda echoed his coach, stressing that the squad is fully prepared. “We understand the importance of this match. By following the technical bench’s instructions, we aim to leave Mwanza with all three points,” Mwenda said.
Pamba Jiji, on their part, have been preparing rigorously. Head coach Francis Baraza said his squad is in top form.
“We respect Yanga, but we are determined to compete strongly and aim for a positive result. Our players are ready to give their best,” Baraza stated.
Midfielder Kevin Nashoni added that the team has clear goals for the match. “We have strategized with our technical team to ensure we do not concede easily to Yanga again. We are ready for the challenge,” Nashoni said.
