Singida BS appoints Kimoto as general manager in restructuring move

By Victoria Godfrey

Singida BS has announced a major restructuring of its technical and administrative setup as it looks to recover from a series of poor results in recent matches.

As part of the changes, the club has appointed Papy Kimoto as the new General Manager, while Ngoyi Dora has been named Assistant Coach.

Both officials have signed contracts of one year and three months, marking a fresh leadership direction at the club.

According to the club’s Information Officer, Hussein Massanza, Head Coach Muhibu Kanu will remain in charge until the end of the season.

He will continue handling technical responsibilities while working closely with the new management team to strengthen coordination within the squad.

Massanza said the leadership believes the new structure will improve discipline, enhance teamwork, and restore competitiveness as the season progresses.

He added that the decision is part of a broader effort to address inconsistent performances and rebuild the team’s confidence.

The changes come after a difficult spell for the club, which prompted management to introduce strict internal measures.

These include dissolving the existing technical bench, cutting players’ salaries by 40 percent, cancelling winning bonuses, and reducing travel allowances by 40 percent until the end of the season.

Club officials have expressed optimism that the restructuring will help stabilize performance and put the team back on a positive track as they prepare for upcoming fixtures.
