Mineral indicative prices for March 05,2026


The Tanzania Mining Commission has released the latest indicative prices for gold and silver, providing guidance for traders, miners, and buying centers across the country.

For gold, the world market price is listed at USD 5,201.50 per troy ounce, equivalent to TZS 429,217.61 per gram

Domestically, the mineral market price stands at TZS 386,295.85 per gram, while the buying center price is set at TZS 377,711.50 per gram.

Silver prices also show stable rates, with the world market price at USD 86.79 per troy ounce, equal to TZS 7,161.74 per gram

The mineral market price is TZS 6,445.57 per gram, and the buying center price is TZS 6,302.33 per gram.

The Commission emphasizes that these indicative prices aim to standardize trading, protect small-scale miners, and ensure fair practices in mineral transactions across Tanzania.
