His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya, arrived today at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) to participate in the 25th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State of the East African Community (EAC), held at the EAC Headquarters in Arusha.
President Ruto was received by Hon. Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Tanzania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, alongside senior government officials.
The warm reception highlights the enduring partnership between Kenya and Tanzania and underscores the shared commitment to advancing regional integration.
The summit brings together EAC heads of state to deliberate on pressing regional matters, including trade facilitation, infrastructure development, industrialization, and strategies to enhance cooperation among member states.
Leaders are expected to review progress on key regional projects and discuss measures to strengthen unity and economic growth across the community.
