The Tanzanian Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Amb. C.P. Suzan S. Kaganda, has received a delegation of 25 Tanzanian students and their teachers from Loyola High School and St. Joseph Secondary School in Dar es Salaam who are visiting the country for an academic tour.

The students, led by Mr Joseph Chekube, are in Zimbabwe for a four-day visit to participate in the 2026 Model United Nations (MUN) conference organised by Arrupe Jesuit University.

Speaking during a reception held at the Tanzanian Embassy, Ambassador Kaganda thanked the students for visiting the mission and encouraged them to make the most of the opportunity to learn and exchange ideas with other young participants from different countries.

She reminded them to uphold Tanzanian values and discipline throughout the conference, noting that they are representing the country on an international platform.

The ambassador also urged the students to serve as ambassadors of the Kiswahili language and culture by promoting its use among fellow participants.

She further encouraged them to remain committed to their studies, stressing that young people are the future of the nation and play an important role in shaping Tanzania’s development.
