Experts from Tanzania’s Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with the Public-Private Partnership Centre (PPPC), and counterparts from Zanzibar’s Ministry of Labour and Investment through its Public-Private Partnership Department (PPPD), have met to plan the first joint Public-Private Partnership (PPP) session for the 2025/2026 financial year. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Finance’s Satellite Offices in Dar es Salaam.
During the session, participants reviewed and approved the agenda for the upcoming joint collaboration meeting, ensuring all key issues are properly addressed.
The experts also assessed progress from the second joint PPP meeting of the 2024/2025 financial year and received presentations on the draft guidelines for managing budget support and debt effectively.
The meeting reflects the continued commitment of both Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors, promoting sustainable development and efficient service delivery.
