The Tanzanian Mining Commission has released its latest indicative prices for gold and silver, reflecting both global trends and local market conditions.
Gold remains highly valued, with the world market price reaching 416,962.36 TZS per gram. Within Tanzania, the mineral market price stands at 375,266.12 TZS per gram, while buying centres offer slightly lower rates of 366,926.87 TZS per gram.
Silver continues to provide a more accessible option for local investors and miners. Its world market price is 7,463.51 TZS per gram, the mineral market price is 6,717.16 TZS per gram, and buying centres pay 6,567.89 TZS per gram.
These prices highlight the difference between international and local rates and serve as an important reference for miners, traders, and investors across the country.
