Simba SC wrapped up their CAF Champions League campaign on a high note, defeating Stade Malien 1-0 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The match’s only goal came in the 2nd minute, when striker Anicet Oura made the most of an early chance to give Simba an immediate lead. The early strike set the tone for the rest of the game.
Despite sustained pressure from the visitors, Simba remained resilient, protecting their lead through to halftime. The team entered the break confidently ahead 1-0.
The second half saw both sides make tactical adjustments, creating opportunities at both ends of the pitch. However, neither team managed to add to the scoreline, despite several close calls.
