In addition, she engaged with UN Tourism Secretary-General Ms. Shaikha Al Nuwais to deepen strategic tourism partnerships and position Tanzania as a leading global destination for sustainable tourism.
The President delivered remarks at the launch of the Global Africa Investment Summit (GAIS), highlighting Tanzania’s shift from “Aid Dependency to Trade Partnership” and reaffirming the country’s commitment to aligning bankable projects with global capital and national development priorities.
Throughout the visit, President Samia presented Tanzania’s priority investment sectors, including tourism, aviation, infrastructure, logistics, the blue economy, commercial agriculture, manufacturing, energy, and regional trade.
