47th anniversary of the Iranian revolution commemorated in Dar es salaam, strengthening diplomatic ties

The 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of has been commemorated in last night, bringing together government leaders, diplomats, and stakeholders in international relations in an event that reflected the continued strengthening of cooperation between Iran and Tanzania.

Speaking during the event, the Deputy Minister for Constitutional and Legal Affairs, , stated that diplomatic relations between Tanzania and Iran have been built on mutual respect, bilateral cooperation, and shared national interests.

She noted that Tanzania continues to value the partnership across various sectors, including trade, education, health, and social development.


Katimba emphasized that Tanzania remains committed to diplomacy grounded in cooperation and friendship, adding that the country will continue working with friendly nations to advance economic growth and the welfare of its citizens.

On his part, the Iranian Ambassador to Tanzania, His Excellency Mohammad Javad, acknowledged and appreciated the strong and cordial relationship between Iran and Tanzania. 


He affirmed his commitment to sustaining and strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries to ensure greater mutual benefits.

He further highlighted that cooperation between the two nations has continued to expand in various sectors, particularly trade, technology, and industrial development through knowledge and experience exchange.

From a diplomatic perspective, the commemoration served as an important platform for strengthening friendly dialogue, exchanging views on regional and global matters, and demonstrating a shared commitment to promoting sustainable development partnerships.


The event also reflected the role of social diplomacy in strengthening people-to-people relations, which contributes to global understanding and unity.

Additionally, the celebration reaffirmed the commitment of both nations to explore new investment opportunities, strengthen economic cooperation, and advance development diplomacy aimed at delivering tangible benefits to citizens of both countries.
