Yanga Football Club is set to announce the contractor for its new stadium tomorrow, following a key meeting of the club’s Tender Committee to evaluate bids submitted by various companies and institutions.
Speaking on the process, Yanga’s Manager of Communications, Ally Kamwe, said the contractor will be revealed after the committee, chaired by the club’s President, Engineer Hersi Said, concludes its deliberations. The meeting is scheduled for January 31 in Dar es Salaam.
“The main focus of the meeting is to review and assess all bids for the construction of the club’s stadium in Jangwani,” Kamwe said.
He added, “We allowed 14 days for companies and institutions to submit their proposals, and we received numerous applications. The committee will carefully evaluate them, and the winner will be announced immediately after the meeting.”
Kamwe stressed that the project marks a historic moment for the club, as Yanga officially begins the process of constructing its own stadium in Jangwani, signaling a new era in its development.
