The Member of Parliament for Wingwi Constituency, Kombo Mwinyi Shehe, has handed out special awards to 187 students who excelled in their studies, recognizing their hard work and commitment to education.
Among the recipients were 122 girls and 65 boys, highlighting efforts to encourage academic achievement across the constituency.
The awards aim to motivate students to continue striving for excellence while celebrating their achievements.
Speaking at the ceremony, Shehe said he was delighted to witness the improvement in academic performance in Wingwi, calling it a source of pride for both him and the community. He credited the success to the combined efforts of students, teachers, and parents.
“These results are inspiring. I urge students to maintain their dedication to learning, pursue their goals with determination, and contribute to the development of our nation,” he said.
The MP also reminded students to uphold discipline and good moral values, stressing that integrity and ethics are as important as academic success in shaping a productive life.
Shehe further pledged to continue investing in the constituency’s education sector, working alongside stakeholders to ensure young people are well-prepared to become future leaders of Tanzania.
