TVF President appoints 11 new Commissioners to strengthen Volleyball Development

The President of the Tanzania Volleyball Federation (TVF), Engineer Magoti Mtani, has appointed 11 commissioners to lead key departments across the federation, aiming to boost management and development of volleyball nationwide.

According to a statement from TVF’s Department of Information and Communication, Kepha Malecela has been named Commissioner for Regional and Member Development, while Alpha Boniface will serve as Commissioner of Legal Affairs.

Other appointments include Ford Edward as Commissioner for Coaches, Timoth Ligambazi as Commissioner for Referees, and Abdul Magono as Commissioner for Beach Volleyball. Michael Kusekwa takes charge as Commissioner for Children and Youth Development, and Happiness Henerico will oversee Player Development.

George Nyanga has been appointed Commissioner for Planning and Marketing, while Julius Kombania, previously Commissioner for Statistics and Research, continues in that role. Mzee Mnumbi will lead Information and Communication, and Siwema Mgeta takes on the role of Commissioner for Women’s Development.

The TVF leadership says these appointments are part of a strategic plan to strengthen volleyball programs, enhance talent development, and improve governance across all levels of the sport in Tanzania.
