Mbeya Zonal Referral Hospital has called on NMB Bank to continue providing financial literacy, investment, and entrepreneurship training to its staff, aiming to strengthen their economic capacity and improve the welfare of both employees and the wider community.
The appeal was made on January 7, 2026, by the hospital’s Director, Dr. Godlove Mbwanji, during a visit by NMB Bank officials to the hospital. The visit was intended to reinforce collaboration between the hospital and the bank.
Dr. Mbwanji praised NMB Bank for its consistent delivery of quality services to the public and for its strong partnership with the hospital in supporting staff financial matters.
“We are satisfied with the way NMB works with us to provide a range of financial services, particularly for our employees,” he said.
He explained that the visit aimed to discuss ways to deepen cooperation, improve financial services, and promote individual economic development among hospital staff.
On her part, NMB Bank Head Office Relationship Officer, Ms. Hellen Lema, commended the hospital’s leadership and employees for offering professional and high-quality services to Tanzanians and NMB staff alike. She also highlighted the hospital’s significant investment in modern infrastructure for service delivery.
“We greatly appreciate your dedication to quality healthcare, and the improvements in modern infrastructure are truly remarkable,” Ms. Lema said.
She added that NMB Bank values its partnership with the hospital and is committed to strengthening the relationship for the benefit of both institutions.
The NMB delegation included Ms. Hellen Lema from Head Office and Mr. Angumbwike Ngogo from the Mwanjelwa branch in Mbeya.
