Prime Minister Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba has reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to implementing policy reforms aimed at directly improving the welfare and livelihoods of Tanzanians.

Speaking in Parliament today during the debate on President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan’s speech delivered in Dodoma on November 14, 2025, Dr. Mwigulu warned that the Government would not tolerate officials who shirk responsibilities, rely on excuses, or adopt bureaucratic practices that delay service delivery.

“Our focus is integrity and accountability. Government officials must ensure that citizens benefit from national resources and receive the services they deserve,” Dr. Mwigulu said.

The Prime Minister said President Samia’s speech outlined the strategic direction of the Sixth Phase Government in its second term.

“The President’s address provided guidance, highlighted challenges, and clarified the responsibilities that must be executed in close collaboration with citizens and development partners,” he explained.

Dr. Mwigulu further stated that the Government has already begun implementing priority actions across key sectors.

“We have identified areas for short-, medium-, and long-term interventions, and implementation has commenced in several regions to ensure citizens immediately benefit from these reforms,” he added.

The Prime Minister’s remarks reflect the Government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen public service delivery, enhance accountability, and ensure that development initiatives translate into tangible benefits for the people.
