Dar City Basketball Club is set to bring in 10 new players as part of efforts to strengthen the team ahead of the upcoming Basketball Africa League (BAL) tournaments.
Head Coach Mohamed Mbwana said the new players will be identified through scrimmage sessions, forming part of the team’s preliminary preparations.
“This recruitment focuses on local Tanzanian talent, who will join the existing squad to create a stronger and more competitive team for international competitions,” Mbwana said.
He added that the exercise is not only aimed at boosting the team’s performance but also provides an opportunity for homegrown talents to showcase their skills, raising the overall quality and competitiveness of the squad before the BAL season kicks off.
