The Copyright Office of Tanzania (COSOTA) has announced that the forum on copyright fees, originally scheduled for January 23, 2026, has been postponed.
A notice issued by COSOTA’s Department of Communication and Public Relations informed artists, authors, and other creators of literary works that the event will not take place on the planned date. A new date for the forum will be communicated in due course.
COSOTA urged all stakeholders to stay updated on announcements regarding the rescheduled session, which is expected to address issues related to copyright fees and royalties.
