Clubs and individual players have been urged to confirm their participation in the Open Tanzania Wrestling Federation( TAWF), set to run from February 23 to 28 at Mwembeyanga Grounds in Dar es Salaam.
Andrew Kapelela, President of the Tanzania Wrestling Federation( TAWF), told The Respondent Online that the tournament aims to identify, nurture, and promote draughts talent across the country.
“The championship is open to both clubs and individual players, and everyone who meets the eligibility criteria is welcome to compete,” Kapelela said.
“Early registration is essential to allow us to finalize preparations and ensure a smooth tournament.”he added
He added that all administrative arrangements and infrastructure are ready, with the only remaining task being confirmation of participation by clubs and players before the deadline.
Kapelela also invited investors and sports stakeholders to support the event by promoting their products and services during the championship, highlighting the opportunity to engage with a wide audience of sports enthusiasts.
