The Ministry of Water has honored former staff and outgoing members of the National Water Board whose terms have ended, during a brief farewell ceremony held at Lavender Hotel in Dodoma.
Among those recognized were Dr. George V. Lugomela, former Director of the Water Resources Department, Engineer Ramadhani Singano, and members of the Fourth National Water Board.
Speaking at the event, Minister for Water Jumaa Aweso (MP) praised them for their professionalism and valuable contributions to the Water Sector, noting that their legacy continues to strengthen water resources management.
Permanent Secretary Engineer Mwajuma Waziri said the Ministry will continue to rely on their expertise for the benefit of the nation.
The retirees thanked the Ministry for its support and pledged to remain ambassadors of the Water Sector.
