Saning’o marks 10 years of honest leadership in Komolo

Saning’o Kipoon Somi, widely known as the “Doctor of Boundaries,” has celebrated a decade of exemplary leadership as Chairman of Komolo Village in Simanjiro District, Manyara Region.

His commitment to honesty and fairness at the village level earned him the trust of residents, paving the way for his election as Ward Councilor.

Speaking during a thanksgiving ceremony, Saning’o thanked God for guiding him throughout his leadership journey. He noted that during his 10 years in office, no land disputes arose among residents, a record that earned him his nickname.

“In my 10 years leading Komolo Village, not a single land conflict occurred until I handed over the position to my successor,” he said, adding that he left detailed land records for the current leadership to ensure continued smooth governance.

Father Edwin Kiromo of the Catholic Mission of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Terrat urged Saning’o to continue serving the community with integrity, wisdom, and humility.

“Do good, reconcile people, bring joy, and avoid deceit. Seek wisdom as Solomon did—he asked for wisdom, not wealth or cattle, and was blessed with both,” said Father Kiromo.

Peter Toima, CCM Regional Chairman for Manyara, congratulated Saning’o for earning the confidence of Komolo residents and leading with distinction.
