President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, met with the outgoing Kenyan Ambassador to Tanzania, Mr. Isaac Njenga, at State House, Dar es Salaam, on December 17, 2025, in a farewell visit.
Ambassador Njenga, who has completed his tenure in Tanzania, took the opportunity to bid farewell to the President. During their meeting, discussions focused on strengthening trade and investment between Tanzania and Kenya.
President Samia emphasized the importance of these partnerships for creating business opportunities, boosting local industries, and improving livelihoods for Tanzanian citizens.
Both leaders agreed to continue fostering cooperation that supports small and medium enterprises, encourages cross-border trade, and generates jobs for communities in both countries.
The meeting highlighted Tanzania’s commitment to leveraging regional partnerships for economic growth and ensuring that bilateral agreements translate into tangible benefits for ordinary citizens.
