The United Republic of Tanzania has lost a respected leader and dedicated public servant following the passing of former Peramiho Member of Parliament, Jenista Mhagama.
Vice President Ambassador Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi visited the late MP’s home in Itega, Dodoma, to convey the nation’s condolences and express his sympathy to the bereaved family.
Speaking during the visit, Vice President Nchimbi described Jenista Mhagama as a leader whose contributions went beyond her parliamentary role.
“Although she served as the MP for Peramiho, her commitment to the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) and her efforts in advancing development across Ruvuma Region earned her respect nationwide,” he said.
He extended heartfelt condolences to the late MP’s family, friends, and mourners, praying for strength and courage for her children and close relatives to accept the loss and draw comfort from God’s guidance.
The nation remembers Jenista Mhagama for her dedication, leadership, and unwavering service to both her constituency and the country at large.
