Minister Kikwete pledges full support to Government Flight Agency staff

The Minister of State in the President’s Office for Public Service Management and Good Governance, Ridhiwani Jakaya Kikwete, has pledged strong cooperation and support to the Board, management and staff of the Government Flight Agency (TGFA), commending the institution for its professionalism and efficient management of government aircraft.

Speaking on December 12, 2025, during his visit to TGFA offices in Dar es Salaam, the Minister said the Agency has continued to demonstrate high standards of efficiency and accountability in carrying out its responsibilities.

He praised the TGFA Board for providing sound strategic guidance and ensuring the sustainability of the Agency, noting that its performance has been satisfactory and reflects effective leadership and teamwork. 


He also commended staff for their technical expertise and dedication in managing government aircraft, which play a critical role in supporting national leadership and government operations.

Kikwete assured TGFA staff of full cooperation from his office, emphasizing that both he and the Deputy Minister, Regina Qwaray, are committed to strengthening the Agency’s capacity and performance. 

He called on staff to maintain close collaboration with the Deputy Minister, expressing confidence that her experience and leadership will further enhance efficiency within the institution.

The Minister also expressed appreciation to President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for the trust she has placed in him to lead the President’s Office for Public Service Management and Good Governance, under which TGFA operates.


In her remarks, Deputy Minister Regina Qwaray pledged to work closely with TGFA in executing its mandate, stressing the importance of teamwork and shared responsibility in achieving institutional goals.

She said the visit aimed to foster mutual understanding and build a strong working relationship between the leadership and staff, urging all employees to sustain their commitment and collaborative spirit.

Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of the Government Flight Agency, Capt. Budodi Nicholaus Budodi, said the Agency is performing well in overseeing its ongoing projects and daily operations.

He assured the Minister and the Deputy Minister that TGFA will continue to be responsive to directives from the government leadership and will implement them in a timely and efficient manner, in line with the Agency’s mandate.
