Home Affairs Minister, George Simbachawene, has lauded the efforts of Tanzania’s security forces for maintaining peace and stability in the city, amid circulating rumors of unauthorized demonstrations.
Speaking after visiting officers of the Tanzania People’s Defence Force (JWTZ) and the Tanzania Police Force in various Dar es Salaam neighborhoods, Simbachawene praised their dedication to protecting citizens and safeguarding property.
He emphasized that their vigilance allows residents to continue their daily activities without disruption.
The minister also called on all security institutions to remain alert and work together to prevent any potential threats that could undermine the calm and safety of the city.
Simbachawene reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring a secure environment for all Tanzanians.
