The Dar es Salaam Regional Football Association (DRFA) is set to hold its Annual General Meeting on Saturday, December 20, in Kigamboni District, bringing together key stakeholders to review progress and set priorities for football development in the region.
Speaking to The Respondents Online, DRFA Secretary Said Kipukuswa said the meeting will deliberate on a range of constitutional and administrative matters aimed at strengthening football governance and improving the standard of the game across Dar es Salaam.
He said key agenda items include an evaluation of the overall development of football in the region, the presentation of the association’s annual activity and financial implementation reports, an assessment of challenges encountered during the year, and the formulation of strategic plans to guide future activities.
Kipukuswa said preparations for the meeting are at an advanced stage, with the association committed to ensuring the session is conducted in a professional, transparent, and orderly manner.
“Preparations are progressing well to ensure the meeting is conducted with the highest level of professionalism,” he said.
The meeting will be attended by delegates from all district football associations affiliated with DRFA, providing a platform for members to exchange views, strengthen coordination, and collectively shape the future of football development in the region.
The Annual General Meeting is expected to play a key role in reinforcing grassroots football structures, improving competition management, and aligning regional football initiatives with national development goals.
