The NBC Premier League Tanzania Mainland resumes tomorrow with two high-stakes fixtures set to capture the attention of football fans across the country.
At the KMC Complex in Mwenge, Dar es Salaam, struggling hosts KMC will face JKT Tanzania in a match that could shape their fight for survival this season.
KMC enter the fixture anchored at the bottom of the league standings and under immense pressure to turn their season around. In contrast, JKT Tanzania sit seventh with seven points, but are also keen to recover following recent setbacks.
Both clubs head into tomorrow’s game carrying the weight of defeat from their previous matches—KMC suffered a heavy 4–1 loss, while JKT Tanzania were edged 2–1 by Simba.
KMC Head Coach Marcio Maximo said his squad has undergone thorough preparation and is determined to begin their journey out of the relegation zone.
“We respect the strength of JKT Tanzania. We have prepared well, and we believe that the adjustments we’ve made will start to bear fruit in tomorrow’s match,” Maximo said, adding that he remains focused despite the pressure surrounding the team.
KMC midfielder Ahmed Pipino called on fans not to lose hope, emphasizing that the players are committed to fighting for victory.
On the other side, JKT Tanzania Assistant Coach George Mketo said they are equally prepared, fully aware of KMC’s desperation for points.
“This will be a tough match. KMC will be eager for results, but we also need a win to consolidate our position in the league,” Mketo said.
JKT Tanzania midfielder Valentino Mashaka added that team morale is high and the players are ready to execute the technical bench’s game plan to ensure they return home with all three points.
